Angel Foundation Awarded Grant from Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation

On December 2, 2009 the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation awarded Angel Foundation a $10,000 grant to provide holiday meals for cancer patients and their families, as well as to expand the FaCT holiday party so it was more accesible to additional survivors and their families.

As part of the award package, the FastBreak Foundation donated a suite for four FaCT families to enjoy during the game. Five individuals were then chosen to appear on the court for the presentation of the grant.

Each month during the 2009-10 season the FastBreak Foundation focuses on a specific area of giving. A $10,000 grant is awarded to an organization that best fits the month's theme and fulfills the mission of the Foundation. The theme for December 2009 was Season of Giving, which honored organizations that serve families in need during the holdiay season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation provides and supports hands-on programs that positively impact Minnesota youth. Through giving, education and basketball opportunities, the Foundation enables young people to make responsible decisions, contribute to their future, and experience life-long memories.
