MINNEAPOLIS (June 14, 2010)— When someone discovers the gift of bringing their varying interests together to benefit others in need, a powerful impact can be made. Farley Kaufmann, a cancer survivor and board member of Angel Foundation, has combined his passion for motorcycling with his desire to help others in need to create the Angels & Hogs Bike Rally to benefit Angel Foundation.
On June 26, the first annual Angels & Hogs Bike Rally will kick off at Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson® in Eden Prairie, MN. The event will include a ride to and from Henderson, MN, along with a raffle, auction, and after party with food, soft drinks and live music.
Participation fee is $50 and funds raised will help Angel Foundation provide financial assistance, education and support to families when cancer strikes. Schedule of events and registration information are available at http://www.mnangel.org/events.

Angel Foundation provides emergency financial assistance to adult cancer patients in the seven-county metro area of the Twin Cities to meet critical nonmedical needs such as mortgage or rent payments, food, utilities and transportation costs. This support helps reduce the stress of lifestyle changes in order to retain dignity and quality of life. Angel Foundation also offers free education and support through its Facing Cancer Together programs to families who have a parent with cancer.
