Financial Cancer Care
What is the Financial Cancer Care (FCC) Program?
Financial Cancer Care offers a workshop and one-on-one meetings with a Social Worker and a Pro Bono Certified Financial Planner™ to help avoid the potentially devastating effects of cancer-related financial toxicity. Individuals who attend a workshop will receive a $250 stipend. Those who also complete their meetings with a Pro Bono Certified Financial Planner™ will receive an additional $250 stipend.
Eligibility Requirements
To register for Financial Cancer Care, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

- Patient is 18 years of age or older.
- Patient is living or receiving cancer treatment in our 14-county service area (Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Olmsted, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, St. Louis, Washington, or Wright Counties or St. Croix County in Wisconsin.)
- Patient has received treatment for cancer within the last two years.

- Patient meets all Financial Cancer Care Workshop criteria.
- Patient is financially independent.
- Patient is not currently working with a Financial Planner.
