Thanks to our new donors we met the match!
2011 marks our tenth year of supporting families when cancer strikes. All year we have been celebrating this milestone with a variety of activities and events related to the Power of 10.
Earlier this year, Angel Foundation received a $10,000 grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation. According to the grant agreement, $5,000 was for program support and the remaining $5,000 was reserved as a challenge grant to encourage individuals who did not currently support Angel Foundation to become donors.
On March 9, we kicked off the Otto Bremer Power of 10 challenge to new donors. Our goal was to raise $5,000 by May 9. We made the goal with a few days to spare! A very special thanks to those of you that forwarded emails or encouraged friends and family to make a donation.To all of you that stepped forward with a financial contribution, thank you! The Otto Bremer Foundation challenge turned the initial $5,000 into $10,000 and is making a tremendous impact on families throughout the Twin Cities.
