Angel Foundation was founded in 2001 as a Minnesota-based charitable organization working to fulfill unmet non-medical needs of adult cancer patients and their families. Since that time, Angel Foundation has blossomed into a vital community resource serving thousands of people touched by cancer by providing hope and stability through education, support, and emergency financial assistance.
Education and support is provided to adult cancer patients and their families through our Facing Cancer Together (FaCT) program. FaCT offers education seminars, family activities, and programs for kids and teens who have a parent facing cancer.
Financial assistance includes help with rent, mortgage, groceries and gas, phone and utility bill payments. In many cases, this assistance eliminates the need for a cancer patient to decide between purchasing their medication, or food and shelter for their families.
Our programs include:
- Educational Support Programs
- Financial Assistance
- Patient-Focused Acts of Caring
- Survivorship Activities
While many organizations raise funds for cancer research, Angel Foundation focuses on the personal day-to-day needs and necessities of cancer patients. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life throughout the cancer experience. To continue making a difference in the lives of those who have been touched by cancer, we need your help:
- Sponsor or donate to Angel Foundation.
- Volunteer at Angel Foundation.
- Read about Angel Foundation's fundraising events, like our Angel Awards, and our annual golf classic.
