Facing Cancer Together (FaCT)Facing Cancer Together (FaCT) was created by the Angel Foundation as an educational and support program for families who have a parent facing cancer. Its mission is to strengthen the family through support and education as families face the challenges of cancer together. A parent's diagnosis impacts the entire family. We believe that children and teens can meet and manage this challenge and that their families can be strengthened by this experience when they are provided with developmentally appropriate information delivered in a safe, nurturing environment and supported by peers sharing a similar life experience. FaCT offers educational support groups, retreats, camp for kids and teens, and special events for families as they face cancer together.
